Okay, so B.B. wants to go with Cassell because he knows their complicated offensive system. But no one, including Belichick, seems to consider the possibility of Cassell "going down." What if he's lost for the season due to injury? If they had signed a veteran QB right after Brady went down, that QB would be learning the system these past weeks.
