Super Bowl

This years superbowl is between the  Arizona Cardinals and the Pitsburg steelers. My prediction is that the Cardinals will win because they have alot of good players like Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzaagerald,and Edgerin James. THe Stellers are led by Ben Rothlesburger, and Hines Ward. I predict the final score will be 10 to 17 Arizona win.

 !2 out of 20 billionaires went to college, so that proves a degree is important to wealth and fame. But as you see if you dont have a college edgucation you can still be wealthy and famous.

The Finals

The 2008 NBA finals were won by the boston celtics. The Celtics walked right over the Lakers to pick up their 17th championchip banner. I dont think the Celtics could have pulled it off if it werent for some key additions to the team, this year. In order from most important to least important this is a list of the additions to the team.

               Kevin Garnett the power forward, the Celtics got him from the Minnesotia Timberwolves. Where he had played  his whole career. Something I found intresting is that Kg said he never would play for the Celtics he said he would only play for the Timberwolves or the Suns. Paul Pierce said that he wanted to go to the Wolves if Kg didnt come to Boston but then one later, Kg ends up bringing the championchip back to Boston and he is probably glad he got traded.   

             Ray Allen- The superstar strong guard, that the Celtics got from the Seattle Supersonics. Ray Allen is known for his abilaty to make 3 pointers, he is also one of the best shooters on the floor. This year he played a big part in bringing the championchip back to Boston for its 17th time. He tied the record for most 3 pointers made in a finals game which is 17. A weird circumstance is the last finals game happened on the 17th, and Ray Allen tied the record with 17 3 pointers, which brought the Celtics their 17th championchip.  

        Rajon Rondo- the stellar point guard from Kentucky he is known for his ability to find the open man.      

          Pj Brown- The veteran from the bulls he is a great shooter and ball handeler he used to play with Micheal Jordon  himself.                                                                                                                                                       Kendrick Perkins- The center  he is a great deffenceman. Him and the deffencive player of the year Kg is one of the best deffencive combos ever I think. 

   Sam Cassel also a great veteran used to be one of the highest point scores in history he came out of retiremant to play for Boston thisyear.                                                                                                        Big Baby D- The back up for Perkins used to be a football player, thats must be where he gets his huge size and monster agression from. He was doing great at the start of the year then Perkins took over.            

     James Posey- Also known for his agression, size, and consitancy from the 3 point line.

Nba Draft

It is looking like Micheal Beasley, the star forward from Kansas State will be selected first by the Chicago Bulls.  If that pick were to happen that would mean that Derrick Rose, the stellar point gaurd at Memphis would join Dwane Wade, in the backcourt next season in Miami.    3rd pick goes to the Timberwolves, their projected pick is Brook Lopez, the center from Stanford. 4th Super Sonics projected pick is Jerryd Bayless, he plays point guard and strong guard he is from Arizona. 5th Grizzlies, its looking like their going with Kevin Love from USCLA, he plays power forward and center. 6th goes to the Knicks, looks like their going with Oj Maya, the guard from USC. 7th goes to the Clippers, looks like their going with Erick Gordan, the strong guard from Indiana. 8th pick goes to the Bucks I think their going with Dallino Gallinaro, from Armani Jeans Alimino. 9th pick goes to the Bobcats, looks like their going with the big man from LSU, he plays forward. Next pick’s going to the Nets,  looks like their going with the huge guy from Texas, DeAndre Jordan the center. Number 11’s going to the Pacers and it looks like theyt are going with Dj Austin, the point guard from Texas.12thpick goes to the Kings, looks like their going with the guard Russel Westbrook from UCLA.13th pick goes to the Trailbrazer, their projected pick is a forward from West Virginia, named Joe Alexander. Next pick goest to the Warriors, the prediction is they’re going with Kosta Kofus the center from Ohio State. 15th pick, its looking like the Suns are going to pick up the strong guy, Brandon Rush from Kansas. Next are the Sixers who are predicted to go with the power forward from Kansas, Darrel Arthur. #17 looks like Raptors are going with the forward from Syracuse, Donte Green.18th pick goes to the Wizards looks like their going with the forward, Nicholas Batrumn from LMSB. Next are the Calvilears and it looks like their going with the strong guy from Arizon, his name is Chase Budinger. 20th pick goes to the Nuggets, looks like they are going with the center from Nevada Javeal McGea. #21Nets, and it looks like their going with the forward/ center, Mareese Speights he currently goes to Florida.Next pick goes to Majic and it looks like they are going with, Chris Douglas-Roberts  SG/SF from Memphis. Pick number 23 goes to the Jazz, and it looks like they are going with the center from Georgetown, Roy Hibbert. Pick 24 Supersonics pick will probably be for the center from Hyres Toulon his name is, Alex Ajinca. Next pick goes to the Rockets, who are probably going to go with the pf/c from Stanford named Robin Lopez. Pick 26 goes to the Spurs, looks like they are going to pick up Courtney Lee  SG/SF from Western Kentucky. Pick 27 of the draft the Hornets are looking like they are going to go with the guard from North Carolina, his name is Ty Lawson. I don’t think the Hornets should make that pick because they already have a great guard Chris Paul, but maybe they need a good backup or something. #28 goes to the Grizzlies looks like they are going with the center from Rider, named Jason Thompsan. Pick number 29 goes to the Pistions and it looks like they are going with the power forward D.J White, from Indiana. The 30th and last pick of round one goes to my favorite team the Celtics, looks like they are going to pick up the center Devin Harden, from California.

Baseball

     Today in the Eastern league the first place team is the , Tampa Bay Rays, in second place is the Boston Red Sox, in 3rd place are the Toronto Blue Jays, in fourth place are the Baltimore Orioles, in fifth place are the Ney York Yankees.  Tampa Bay ahs won 31 games and lost 21 games. The Red Sox have won 32 games and lost 23 games , and have 0.5 Gb. The Toronto Blue Jays have won 28 games and have lost 26, with 4.0 GB. The Baltimore Orioles have won 26 games and lost 25, with 4.5 GB. The New York Yankees have won 25 games and lost 27, they have 6.0 GB.          

                        In the Eastern National league the Florida Marlins are in first with no Gb. In second are the Philedalphis Phillies with 1.5 Gb. In 3rd place are the Atlanta Braves with 2.5 Gb. Now in fourth place is one of my faves the , Ney York Mets with 5.5 Gb. In fith the Washington Nastionals with 6.0 Gb. Marlins record is 30-21, the Phillies is 30-24. The Braves record is 28-24, the Mets record is 24-26. The Nationals are 22-31.                                         

                              

Football

The news in the NFl today is , about the Patroiots. The Pats have recently had some big losses, like Asuanta Samuel to the Eagles, Rosavelt colvin, and Donte Stallworth. Luckily they still have Randy Moss, Ben Watson, Tom Brady, Jabar Gaffney, and many more of their star players.   This is the players drafted by the 3* superbowl champs. Jerod Mayo, Terence Wheatly, Shawn Cramble, Kevin O’Connel, Johnathin Whiitle, Matt Slater, and Bo Rud. I think the Patriots did a fairly good job I gave them a B- for a draft grade. I dont think they needed a Qb Matt Cassel, is a good backup . They could have atleast waited until a later round to draft a qb, and then they could picked up a player for ot which they need, that round. But now because of that stupid descicion they still need an ot, and a saftey.

Todays subject in sports is the Boston Celtics.          As many of you are aware the celtics are leading the series against the Detroit Pistons, I am predicting that the Celtics will beat the Pistons and then go on to the finals against either the Lakers, or the Hornets.  Kevin Garnett leads the team in minutes played so far this playoff session with 683 minutes, he is averaging 37.9 minutes per game. Kevin Garnett also leads them with points this playoff session, he has 372 points and 20.7 per game. Paul Pierce leads with 30-85 3 point shots in the playoffs so far.  So far in the playoffs for the celtics I would have to say by a land slide K.G is leading the team.      What I think is weird about the Celtics is that they have a player named Ray Allen, and another player named Allan Ray it must be pretty confusing. Except for the fact that Allan Ray, has a fake glass eye because in one of his games his eye got poked out.   Ray Allen, has been on a bad streak in the playoffs because he hasn’t been making, the shots he ussualy makes like his signature 3 pointers. Ray also has the best shot in the NBA, but I guess you cant make all your shots every time, I just don’t hope this affects his stats that badly.

                           In the Division finals series between the Lakers, and Spurs the key players in the series are Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan. for each game won by each team this series they have been the highest point scorers. I personaly are hoping for the Spurs to come back and win it because i’m a Celtics fan, and think the Celtics would have a much easier win against them. But it is not likly that the Spurs can hold Kobe and the lakers for 3 more games, without them winning one of the games . With Koby against them its almost impossible. How do I even still got hope in the Spurs with a guy like this on the other team.

A bus of politicians is driving by a farm where a man lives alone. The bus driver, caught up in the beautiful scenery, loses control and crashes into the ditch. The man comes out and finding the politicians, buries them.

The next day, the police are at the farm questioning the man. “So you buried all the politicians?” asked the police officer. “Were they all dead?”

To which the man replied, “Some said they weren’t, but you know how politicians lie.”      

Mildred was a 93 year-old woman who was particularly despondent over the recent death of her husband Earl. She decided that she would just kill herself and join him in death.

Thinking that it would be best to get it over with quickly, she took out Earl’s old Army pistol and made the decision to shoot herself in the heart since it was so badly broken in the first place.

Not wanting to miss the vital organ and become paralyzed, she called her doctor’s office to inquire as to just exactly where the heart would be. “On a woman,” the doctor said, “your heart would be just below your left breast.”

Later that night, Mildred was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her left knee.                

The LAPD, the FBI, & the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.

The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.

The FBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.

The LAPD goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling: “Okay, okay, I’m a rabbit, I’m a rabbit.”

Mr. Larsen’s new secretary was young, sweet, and very polite. One day, while taking dictation, she noticed his fly was open. She didn’t want to embarrass him, so she waited until she was leaving his office before saying, “Mr. Johnson, your barracks door is open.”

The remark confused him until he happened to look down and see his open zipper. He decided to have some fun. Calling her in, he asked, “Miss Jones,when you saw my barracks door was open this morning, did you also notice a soldier standing at attention?”

Miss Jones smiled demurely. “Why no, sir. But I did see a disabled veteran sitting on two duffel bags!”

 

Finding one of her students making faces at others on the playground, Ms. Smith, the Sunday School teacher, smiling sweetly said, “Bobby, when I was a child I was told if that I made ugly an face, it would freeze and I would stay like that.”

Bobby looked up and replied, “Well, Ms. Smith, you can’t say you weren’t warned.”       

The Secret Service was looking for more employees. They put up a sign and the next day they picked the next three people. They brought the first guy into a room and gave him a pistol and said” Your wife is in that room go in and shoot her” The guy looked at them and said” No I can’t do it” So the Secret Service brought out the next guy and told him the same thing and handed him the gun. “He went into the room and came back out but he didn’t want to shoot her. So the Secret Service who was really desperate brought the last person in. She was a blonde so they were worried. They said” Your husbandis in that room and I want you to shoot him.” “Alright” she announced. She went into the room and the Secret Service heard alot of crashing and banging. They went in and found the man dead. “What the hell is going on” “Oh The gun was a blank so I beat him to death with a chair.”

Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really pissed.She told him “Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!”The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.
